A key advantage of the 590V series is its ability to support heavy loads while maintaining an amazingly low profile. This combination of robustness and compactness is particularly useful for devices with limited installation space.

Another highlight is the electric locking device, which enables a central and reliable fixation. This function can be easily integrated into the existing device control and thus offers optimal operability.

 

For maximum precision, the 590V series uses a punching pin that presses against the floor with a defined contact pressure, thereby creating friction. Thanks to the precise guidance of the punching pin in the bolt, a locking device with almost no play is guaranteed. In addition, the contact pressure can be individually adapted to the weight of the device and the load distribution to ensure optimal stability.

Compared to other solutions, the progress is clear: casters with friction or positive locking devices often have higher backlash, which can affect stability – especially in sensitive applications such as surgical robots. Hydraulic locking devices offer high stability, but require additional hydraulic components and maintenance.

 

The 590V series combines the compact design of a castor with a stable and low-backlash locking device, and without the need for hydraulic controls. Instead, it integrates seamlessly with existing electrical control systems.
